Here is Russia's high speed typesetter. The following is translated from Russian.

Performance L.-semiautomatic depends on qualification Linotype operator and is usually set in rows 4-5 1 min. Maximum technical performance machines AT-140 and AT-240 - 16 lines set to 1 min. Top AL-machines manufactured abroad - "Electron" (USA), "Europe" (Germany), "Monarch" (USA) - have a capacity of 14-15 rows in 1 min.

Inlaid strokootlivnoy Machine NA-140 1 - keyboard; 2 - thermostats; 3 - foster a table; 4 - the em unit knives; 5 - the control device; 6 - composing stick; 7 - metallopodavatel; 8 - disassembly apparatus; 9 - gatherer; 10 - Perforated tape.

At the BookArtMuseum in Lodz, Poland there is a Russian Linecaster. It is not operated very much, because there are no former operators available anymore... When possible I will post a photo of it.

There are some unusual linecasters on this Instagram post. Starting with a green Neotype, then an Elektron, followed by a German Quadriga. It's like the United Nations!
