For over 25 years a colleague of mine has been collecting and dealing in hand printing machinery and bookbinding machinery and equipment. He now has 5000 sq ft of stock which includes such things as proofing press's and older antique printing machinery such as Albion and Columbian printing press's. It includes bookbinding lying press's, percussion press's, nipping press's. standing press's, gluing machines, board cutters, finishing press's and sewing frames as well as various gold blocking machines, he has book sewing machines as well as a considerable stock of materials.
Normally my colleague restores equipment and machinery, he is well known within the trade for this.
But all of the equipment concerned is in an unrestored condition, just as it was when it left the bindery or printing works. We promise the equipment is working but it may have evidence of rust or need of painting or general cleaning.
Because of this we will be asking UNDER INFLATED FAIR PRICES for the equipment.
The equipment is based in the South West of the UK.
