Printle: A Printing Word Game from Metal Type

I don't know the answer to this one, and neither does the guy who posted it onto Flickr, so it's no use clicking the link!  :laugh:

All we know is that it is exhibited in a Linotype museum in Germany.

Mechanic

My guess is that it is an old ticket vending machine. Notice the little levers set to Sa 8 80 9. Turn the handle and you get a ticket for what ever that means.

The photo is an example of a more modern one, only about 60 years old.

I think you might be right, Dan.

That would certainly fit in with the location (near the Swiss border), also the sticker on the machine seems to mention "Ski"

Bit of a mystery how it ended up in the Linotype Museum!
