Printle: A Printing Word Game from Metal Type

I've been contacted by Colin who would like to know if it is possible to fit a Mohr saw to his Intertype C4.

Anyone done it?

Hi Dav,
Yes it is possible to fit a Mohr saw to an Intertype C4, we have a C4 with a Moh saw. I have fitted a number of the saws to Linotype machines but that was back in the sixties. I uploaded a manual for the saw to Archives.org. It does not tell you how to install the machine but it may be of some help. As I recall the there are some modifications to the knife block and the ejector and you have to fit the Mohr saw measure control. I believe the saw would have to be for an Intertype to accommodate the differences between Linotype and  Intertype. URL below
