Printle: A Printing Word Game from Metal Type

Mechanic

Who produced this illustration I have no idea, It was used as part of a presentation to tours of the Sydney Morning Herald back in the 1970's. I liked it so I kept a copy. It is symbolic of letterpress printing. I assume the figure at the right is the Herald and the staff it is holding is the SUN, which was an afternoon paper. the other two figures is the general public that read the papers. The Eagle of course is the press.
