Printle: A Printing Word Game from Metal Type

Browsing through Flickr (it's my last night shift for some time!) I noticed this very pampered Linotype.

Scant info about it on the Flickr site but it appears to be a display piece in the front office of the San Jose Mercury News.

It reminds me of an old 1960s American car!

Boy, doesn't that make you want to walk in with some graphite and oil and go to town...?

Looks almost as good as that keyboard Dan Williams did up for me last year!

 8) Wonderful, to think that someone went to all that trouble. Really appreciated seeing these photos.

Do you think Rupert Murdoch would cherish a Linotype like this in one of his Offices? Maybe with the skulls of a few NGA members attached as souvenirs?

Well, it's been fifteen years since this red and chrome Linotype was first posted on the Forum. Time for an update.
