Hebrew Linotype matrices

Does anyone know of or has seen a Linotype setting Hebrew. Maybe Don Black's photo was not an April fool joke.

My Linotype mechanic friend Wayne wrote to a printer in the USA to find out how to set Hebrew on a linotype machine. The mats themselves have the character punched upside down so that although the mats enter the assembler left to right, when the line is cast slugs have to be reversed.
